Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville Teams with FMYSA to helped Victims of Moore Oklahoma Tornados

May 20th of 2013 was a devastating day for the people of Moore, Oklahoma.  An EF5 Tornado struck this town and adjacent areas during the afternoon killing 23 people and injuring 377 others.  The tornado was part of a larger weather system that had produced several other tornadoes over the previous two days.

For 39 minutes and over a 17-mile path; the tornados crossed the heavily populated section of Moore, Oklahoma.  People’s lives were turned up-side-down and in need of help.
Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville, a North Texas dealership has teamed up with the Flower Mound Youth Sports Association Rattles Baseball team traveling to the town with a Chevy 14ft Box truck filled with items for the Moore families.  The team loaded the truck on Thursday and Friday morning the team with some family members traveled with Huffines’ Fred Whitfield, Business Relations Manager at the wheel of the truck to Moore, Oklahoma.  FMYSA Board member Richard Kenyon, coach of the team presented a check and the items gathered by the team during games for several weeks.
