2020 Chevrolet Blazer

If the Chevy Camaro had a sibling, it could be the new 2020 Chevrolet Blazer as it comes with many Camaro inspired sporty design touches. You probably could classify it as a Camaro crossover.  The new 2020 Blazer that was so popular in the 60's with its truck-like models has returned as a sleek looking SUV with a more athletic look with car-like driving manners.  Also added is sophisticated thin LED headlamps which sets aside a black mesh grille that gives it that aggressive feeling and appearance.  Yes, indeed the new Chevy Blazer is a head turner especially with the RS trim.

The bet is on that you will agree when you visit the friendly folks at Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville located at 1400 South Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville, Texas or by calling the dealership at 972.538.7000 and take a 2020 Blazer out for a drive. Odds are that it will meet and exceed your expectations.

Maybe you will discover that the Chevrolet Blazer isn't a burly 4x4 designed to take you off in the wilderness as it is instead a slick, street-oriented mid-sized five passenger SUV that is just a joy to drive and especially to be seen in.  In fact, the trustworthy organization Consumer Reports gave the Blazer very high marks for owner satisfaction and isn't that what owning a vehicle is all about. Who wants to drive a “ho-hum” car that is just part of the herd when you can have sporty driving-time experiences?

Want to stand out when hauling your family around in a roomy, useful vehicle with sleek lines, then the new Chevrolet is worth a serious look.  So, what is new for the Blazer's second year?  Only a few major changes as Chevrolet has added a new turbocharged feisty four cylinder engine to the lineup that delivers 230 ponies.  It will fit between the entry-level 2.5-liter four banger that pushes out 193 ponies and the powerful available 308 horsepower V6.  That new turbo four forced a trim-level change from 2019 as the LT model now has the 2.5-liter and the 2LT and 3LT now come standard with the new turbo engine.  Only the RS and Premier have standard AWD as well as the V6. All engines for the Blazer delivers quick “get-up and go” torque that is mated with a smooth shifting 9-speed automatic. That feeling especially comes full force with the RS with the V6 that can put you at 60mph in about 6 seconds and sounding great in that journey.  Another benefit of having the V6 is it can tow up to 4500 pounds of your toys.

Inside the Chevy Blazer's cabin you will find an 8-inch touchscreen that is very user friendly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability that can be equipped with a 4G LTE mobile hotspot, 8-speaker Bose audio, navigation and more.  No problem with storage as there is 32 cu-ft behind the rear seats and 64 with the seats folded for those trips to the big box stores and many useful storage places for small items. The other great news is that there is enough space to comfortably fit six-footers in the sliding/reclining rear seats, even with large folks up front.

The new Chevrolet Blazer just covers all the bases.  No better time than now to check one out that fits your styling and bank account.
